Neuroscience Research Center requests proposals for pilot grants
May 03, 2013 College News - The Neuroscience Research Center plans to fund four categories of pilot grants to enhance research capacity in the area of neuroscience research. The largest awards will fund collaborative projects involving two or three faculty members.
The purpose of these grants is to provide seed funding for projects that have a high likelihood for extramural funding. This grant program will be funded through the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin (AHW) Research and Education Program funds, with funding to begin Jan. 1, 2014.
Successful applicants will be required to provide information regarding supplanting and to satisfy all requests for annual progress reports from AHW in a timely manner. Successful applicants will be required to be active contributors to the Neuroscience Research Center, including presenting at Research in Progress and/or Data Blitzes.
