Noah Leigh receives Poster Award at international conference
Oct. 24, 2013 College News - Noah Leigh, Research Associate in Dr. Ramani Ramchandran's lab, received 1st Place for the poster he presented at the 1st Zebrafish for Personalized & Precision Medicine Conference held in Toronto earlier this month. The poster is titled, Mmp17b is essential for proper neural crest cell migration in vivo.
Poster authors include Leigh, Marcus-Oliver Schupp, PhD, Postdoctoral Fellow in Pediatrics; Keguo Li, Research Scientist in Pediatrics; Vakeel Padmanabhan, Postdoctoral Fellow in Pediatrics; Adam Gastonguay, Postdoctoral Fellow in Pediatrics; Ling Wang, MD, PhD, Postdoctoral Fellow in Pediatrics; Chang Z. Chun, Postdoctoral Fellow in Pediatrics; George A. Wilkinson, PhD, who was on the MCW faculty when the research was conducted; and Dr. Ramchandran, Professor of Pediatrics and Vice Chair of Research in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Ramchandran also is Director of the Zebrafish Drug Screening Core in the Children’s Research Institute.
