Pediatric critical care conference scheduled for Sept. 13-14

Aug. 10, 2012 College News - The 2012 Pediatric Critical Care Conference, TYKES: Treating Your Kids Emergent Situations Focusing on Pediatric Trauma, will be held Thursday, Sept. 13, and Friday, Sept. 14, in the Health Resource Center (HRC) Auditorium.

The two-day conference is featuring lectures by Karin Reuter-Rice, PhD, NP, Assistant Professor at Duke University; William Cranston, DSc-OPA, MPAS, MEd., PA-C, DMO, Program Director in the U.S. Army/Baylor University OPA Doctoral Fellowship at Madigan Army Medical Center; and Frederick P. Rivara, MD, MPH, Seattle Children's Guild Endowed Chair in Pediatrics and Vice Chair and Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington.

There also will be a simulation workshop and pediatric grand rounds.

The conference is designed as an interdisciplinary conference for physicians, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, nurses, respiratory therapists and emergency medical services.
