Shop at Boston Store to support breast cancer research
October 04, 2012 - Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., parent company of Boston Store, is holding a special promotion during Breast Cancer Awareness month to raise funds for breast cancer research. Any purchase made in the "Pink Shop" at Boston Store in the month of October will generate donations for the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.
The Pink Shops carry items with a breast cancer awareness theme. All items are available for purchase in store or online at www.bostonstore.com. Bon Ton also makes a donation to breast cancer research every time you use your Boston Store credit card.
Boston Store is holding an additional fundraising event on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Called the Cut-a-thon event, 100% of all Boston Store salon service charges and donations generated during that time period will be benefit breast cancer research.
The proceeds of these promotions are split evenly between the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center and three other cancer centers in the United States. To date, the Medical College has received $700,000 for breast cancer research from Bon-Ton Stores.
