May 24, 2012 College News - The Wisconsin Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America’s (LFA) 11th annual Strides for Lupus-A Walk for Lupus Now Event will be held Saturday, June 9, on the Mount Mary Campus in Wauwatosa and along the Menomonee River Parkway. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 11 a.m. The Lupus Foundation of America, Wisconsin Chapter, Inc. supports researchers at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
The LFA is leading efforts to find the cure for lupus and help people who are affected by the disease.
The event includes a one-mile and three-mile walk. Advanced registration (through June 2) is $20 per adult and $10 per child (12 & under). After June 2 (including the day of the event), registration is $25 per adult and $12 per child.
