THRIVE, Integrative Conference for Women’s Health, to be held Oct. 24-26

July 13, 2012 College News - THRIVE, The Integrative Conference for Women’s Health, will be held Oct. 24-26 at the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva. This interdisciplinary conference will provide opportunities for women’s health providers, primary and holistic health providers, interdisciplinary leaders in women’s health, and research personnel interested in areas of integrative medicine and women’s health to:

  • Discuss women’s health from an integrative medicine viewpoint
  • Create and expand a network of professional contacts, enhance knowledge for personal development and leadership skills, and explore options for career opportunities
  • Discuss areas of needed research in integrative medicine for women’s health
  • Participate in complementary and alternative methods utilized in an integrative medicine practice
  • Revitalize and explore options for reaching a desired work-life balance
  • Focus on personal wellness in a retreat-like atmosphere for rejuvenation

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this activity for up to 15.0 hours of participation for continuing education for allied health professionals.
