Three members of MCW community elected to Wisconsin Medical Society leadership positions
April 19, 2013 College News - Philip Redlich, MD, PhD, Gerald L. Schmitz, MD Professor in the Department of Surgery and Associate Dean for Curriculum, Jonathan S. Kurman, MD, MBA, an internal medicine resident, and Jessica Peterson, a second-year medical student, were elected to one-year terms on the Wisconsin Medical Society Board of Directors.
The election was held at the society’s annual meeting in Madison. This is the first time Peterson and Dr. Kurman were elected to the board, and the second one-year term on the Board for Dr. Redlich.
With more than 12,000 members dedicated to the best interests of their patients, the Wisconsin Medical Society is the largest association of medical doctors in the state.
