Women’s History Month video vignette – Sr. Mary V. Annel
March 5, 2012 College News - In honor of Women’s History Month, the Medical College of Wisconsin has created a series of video vignettes and stories that will be posted on InfoScope during the month of March. The vignettes highlight some of our women faculty, staff and students and the contributions they have made.
In today’s video, Sister Mary V. Annel, MD, MPH, talks about joining the Marquette University School of Medicine in 1967, changes at the school, and being part of the first graduating class of the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1971. From stories of early activism, to how she continues the lessons and mission of MCW in her work in Central America, Sr, Mary does it all with grace.
All of the vignettes and stories will be added to the College’s Women’s History Month 2012 Web page as they are published.
