A Survivor’s Story

CBS 58 News profiled a man who has survived and thrived despite a paralyzing gunshot wound. Stephen Hargarten, MD, MPH, professor and chair of emergency medicine and director of the Injury Research Center, discussed the lifelong effects of these types of traumatic events, and the importance of the Level 1 Trauma Center at Froedtert Hospital.
