The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality reported on findings from 16 projects it funded nationwide focused on patient-centered care and health IT projects. One project highlighted was Dr. Edith Burns’ (Medicine – Geriatrics) work at the Zablocki VA where she developed a home-based reminder and feedback system for diabetic patients.

May 7 - Elizabeth Worthey, PhD, assisted Greenfield High School’s SMART (Students Modeling a Research Topic) team on a presentation centered on a family with an aggressive form of cervical cancer and its potential link to MGMT (0-6-methylguanine-DNA-methyltransferase). Greenfield Patch
