Blueprint of your DNA isn’t just for the sick

The Associated Press produced a national news story highlighting the genomics program at MCW and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Howard Jacob, PhD, Warren P. Knowles professor in genetics and professor of physiology; and David Dimmock, associate professor of pediatrics (genetics), were interviewed for the story.

Pioneer in Spirituality and Health Care to Deliver Medical Humanities Lecture

MCW Medical Student Win’s Briggs & Al’s Run; Event Raises $1 Million for Children’s

Sept. 17 - Connor Callahan, an MCW M-2 student, was the male winner of the 37th Briggs and Al’s Run and Walk for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. The event drew 17,000 participants and raised more than $1 million for Children’s. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Motorcycle Ride Supports Breast Cancer Research

Sept. 17 - Wisconsin Harley-Davidson and the Rock River H.O.G. Chapter will hold the 20th annual “Ridin’ to a Cure” on September 26 and 27 in Oconomowoc. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Rock River Cancer Research Foundation, which supports breast cancer research at MCW’s Cancer Center. Wauwatosa Now
