Bradley Tech Students Tour Excavation Site for Center for Advanced Care

Students from Milwaukee’s Bradley Technical High School participated in the Tech Terns program and were able to tour the excavation site for Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin’s new Center for Advanced Care.

New Marquette President Wants to Build Milwaukee’s Research Infrastructure

July 30 - In an interview with BizTimes, Marquette University’s new President Michael Lovell, PhD, said he wants to build Marquette’s research that generates intellectual property. He said he wants to help create a research infrastructure in Milwaukee that engages MCW, Children’s Hospital, MSOE, and UWM. Biz Times

Wisconsin Supreme Court Rules in Favor of MCW in Whistleblower Case

July 29 - The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled in favor of MCW in a case that affirmed lower court rulings that Wisconsin’s whistleblower law only protects people who actually receive a salary from the institution they file a complaint against. WPR
