Brain May Recover from Concussion by Compensating

A recent study published by Thomas Hammeke, PhD, professor of psychiatry and behavioral medicine, was featured in U.S. News and World Report.  Dr. Hammeke used fMRI to study the recovery of a concussed brain, and discovered the brain compensates for the injury during the healing process.
