Dr. Steven Magill (Medicine – Endocrinology, Metabolism & Clinical Nutrition) tells the Milwaukee Neighborhood News that people in poverty have higher rates of diabetes, a major focus of the Community-based Chronic Disease Management (CCDM) Clinics. The CCDM clinics are supported by a Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program grant from MCW’s Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin endowment.

Sept. 17 - Christina Puchalksi, MD, MS, a pioneer in spirituality and health care, will be the featured speaker at MCW’s ninth annual Medical Humanities Lecture on September 18th. Sept. 17 - Wisconsin Harley-Davidson and the Rock River H.O.G. Chapter will hold the 20th annual “Ridin’ to a Cure” on September 26 and 27 in Oconomowoc.
