In a presentation to the Kenosha Fire Department’s paramedics and EMTs, Saudi Arabian native Dr. Khalid Ateyyah (Fellow in Emergency Medicine) discussed his work on the logistical challenges of emergency medicine planning during the Hajj, the five-day event annual pilgrimage to Mecca. Annually, an estimated 4 million Muslims travel to Mecca during the Hajj.
