A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article focuses on research by John Baker, PhD, (Surgery – Cardiothoracic) in which antibiotics are used to balance bacteria in the guts of rats. Dr. Baker’s research is exploring the link between microbes in the gut and the severity of heart attacks.
