Michael McCrea, PhD, professor of neurology and neurosurgery and director of brain injury research, has been awarded a prestigious Head Health Challenge grant to study concussion using advanced imaging techniques and technology. General Electric and the National Football League sponsored the Head Health Challenge to improve the safety of athletes, members of the military, and society overall. Winners were selected from more than 400 entries in 27 countries.
