Dr. Shaker Receives $2 Million NIH Grant to Study Brain’s Role in GERD

Dr. Reza Shaker (Medicine Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Clinical and Translational Science Institute) received a three-year, $ 2 million grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases to study the brain’s role in gastroesophageal reflux disease.
