Dr. Worthey Assists Greenfield High School Team on Genomic Sequencing Project

Elizabeth Worthey, PhD, (Pediatrics – Genomic) assisted Greenfield High School’s SMART (Students Modeling a Research Topic) team on a presentation centered on a family with an aggressive form of cervical cancer and its potential link to MGMT (0-6-methylguanine-DNA-methyltransferase). The Greenfield team presented their findings on genomic sequencing in Boston at the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology conference.
