Dr. Osama Zaidat (Neurology) was part of a national team of researchers contributing to a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine that found that a stroke survivor's chances of living independently after 90 days are not improved by the use of devices inserted into the artery to dissolve or remove a stroke-causing clot shortly after the onset of symptoms.
