A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel editorial endorses a decision by the Wisconsin Department of Health to provide Wisconsin hospitals with monthly reports on how well they are performing on processing newborn screening blood samples. The newspaper argues that results should be made public and quotes Dr. J. Paul Scott (Pediatrics – Hematology/Oncology): “When things come out in the open, things get fixed.”
