Four MCW scientists have created Protein Foundry, a new spin-off company that will manufacture and market protein molecules. The company’s founders are: Brian Volkman, PhD, Chad Koplinski, and Francis Peterson, PhD, (all Biochemistry) and Michael Dwinell, PhD, (Microbiology and Molecular Genetics).

Sept. 16 - A WUWM-FM report on Milwaukee’s Urban Ecology Center cites research being conducted by Kirsten Beyer, PhD to determine how an urban park affects knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and health outcomes among neighborhood residents. The project is supported by a grant from MCW’s Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin endowment. WUWM
