Genetic Sequencing Solves Mystery Diseases in Adults, Kids

A New England Journal of Medicine editorial written by Howard Jacob, PhD, Warren P. Knowles Professor of Genetics and director of the Human and Molecular Genetics Center, was referenced in a USA Today article about the clinical utility of next generation sequencing. Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin launched the first clinical sequencing program in the country.
