The Association of Health Care Journalists awarded Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Mark Johnson the third place award in the consumer/feature category for “The Course of Their Lives,” the newspaper’s multi-part series that followed a group of MCW M-1 students through their gross anatomy course.

Ulrich Broeckel, MD, professor of pediatrics (genetics) and an investigator at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Research Institute, discussed the importance of this patent and how it will help research at MCW.
