Keck Foundation Awards $1 Million Grant for Genetic Research on Rare Diseases

The W.M. Keck Foundation awarded a $1 million grant to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin to support genetic research to help diagnose and treat children with rare diseases. The project will be led by Howard Jacob, PhD, (Human and Molecular Genetics Center, Physiology).

Journal Sentinel Article on Gross Anatomy Course Receives National Recognition

July 22 - Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Mark Johnson won the third-place award in the Best American Newspaper Narrative Contest for “The Course of Their Lives,” a story that followed a group of MCW first-year students through their gross anatomy course.
