New Drug Could Ease Pain of Sickle Cell Disease

Joshua Field, MD, associate professor of medicine (Hematology and Oncology), medical director of the sickle cell clinic at Froedtert & the Medical College, and a medical director at the BloodCenter of Wisconsin, is primary investigator of a clinical trial investigating the use of an existing drug to alleviate the pain of sickle cell disease.
