Niacin Outperforms Drugs in Artery Health
Raising HDL is as important as lowering LDL if the patients are already are on a cholesterol-lowering drug, said Michael Cinquegrani, a professor of medicine, while commenting on new research that showed that niacin outperformed a popular cholesterol-lowering drug in improving artery health.
