Orthopaedic, Sports and Spine Center to Open in Menomonee Falls

Froedtert & MCW’s new Orthopaedic, Sports and Spine Center in Menomonee Falls will open on January 13. A Wisconsin Athletic Club facility is housed in the same building as the new 42,500 square foot clinic.

Clinic Created by Dr. Lee Helps Disable Vets Learn How to Use Adaptive Handcycling

July 22 - In July, Paralyzed Veterans of America hosted an adaptive handcycling clinic for disabled veterans at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Dr. Kenneth Lee created the clinic two years ago to help veterans who are unable to ride a two-wheeled bike because of spinal cord injury, spinal cord disease, or other disability. PVA

July 22 - Dr. Joseph Kerschner provides expert comment to Inside Science on a USC study that found that common ear infection drugs trigger bacteria to build defenses. Dr. Lunoe Reports on Effectiveness of Jet-Injected Lidocaine for Reducing Venipuncture Pain

July 22 - In a presentation at the annual meeting of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, Dr. Maren Lunoe reported that jet-injected lidocaine is superior to vapocoolant spray in reducing venipuncture pain in children under seven years of age. The Oncology Report
