Officials with the proposed Harmony Initiative said they are planning to save the Laacke & Joys buildings near downtown Milwaukee if they buy the property for their new arts and health care project. Partner organizations for the proposed project are MCW, the Milwaukee Ballet, and UWM’s Peck School of the Arts. Plans for the project include an MCW Sports Medicine Clinic.

July 30 - MCW’s Department of Emergency Medicine has entered into a relationship with the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize and the Belize Ministry of Health in which MCW will provide advanced training in emergency medicine to the hospital’s doctors and nurses. Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital has the largest and busiest emergency department in Belize. The Guardian
