Researchers Discover Drought-Protecting Chemical to Spare Crops

Brian Volkman, PhD, and Francis Peterson, PhD, (both Biochemistry) are co-authors of a University of California – Riverside-led study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that found a new drought-protecting chemical that shows high potential for becoming a powerful tool for crop protection against extreme weather.
