Residency Program to Tackle State Psychiatrist Shortage

The Green Bay Press Gazette featured the psychiatry residency program MCW is developing in Green Bay and the Fox Valley. Jon Lehrmann, MD, the Charles E. Kubly Professor and Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine; and Carlyle Chan, MD, professor of psychiatry and behavioral medicine, were interviewed for the story. Dr. Lehrmann will oversee the program and Dr. Chan will serve as interim residency training director pending ACGME approval of the program.

Journal Sentinel Article on Gross Anatomy Course Receives National Recognition

July 22 - Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Mark Johnson won the third-place award in the Best American Newspaper Narrative Contest for “The Course of Their Lives,” a story that followed a group of MCW first-year students through their gross anatomy course.
