Back-Up Care Advantage program now available to faculty, staff
March 02, 2011 College News - The Medical College of Wisconsin has partnered with Bright Horizons to offer employees back up child and adult/elder care for those times when you need to be at work and regular care is unavailable.
This new benefit, called the Back-Up Care Advantage Program, offers employees who are .50 FTE or greater up to eight days of back-up care per calendar year. There is no fee to register, although registration is required. Once registered, an employee can obtain emergency in-house child or adult/elder care, or center-based child care. There is a small co-payment required for the care that is due at the time of service.
If you would like to find out more information about this MCW benefit, including a list of FAQs, a video presentation, eligibility requirements, center locations, and instructions on how to register, go to the Office of Human Resource’s Back-up Care Advantage Program Web page.
