Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin featured on cover of TIME

TIME Magazine tells the stories of premature babies and the world class care they received in the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin neonatology unit.  The story features Michael Uhing, MD, professor of pediatrics-neonatology at MCW and medical director of neonatology at CHW; as well as the remarkable staff in the NICU, and the patients they have the honor of caring for.

Dr. Duncan Receives $2.1 Million NIH Grant to Study Liver Cell Development

July 16 - Stephen Duncan, DPhil received a five-year, $2.1 million grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases to advance work pioneered at MCW in which human skin cells are converted into liver cells, and to identify the molecular mechanisms of liver cell development.
