Ahmed Kissebah, MD, PhD, Professor of medicine, and Director of the TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Obesity and Metabolic Research Center, at The Medical College of Wisconsin, has been researching the genetic basis of obesity for the last three decades. Now he and his colleagues are studying the children of TOPS members to help identify the genetic origin of obesity.
