Physical and Technical Security

The Physical and Technical Security Group is responsible for protecting the internal resources and infrastructure of the College by employing a security risk management approach that carefully examines threat, vulnerability and criticality.  Some of the methodologies employed by this Group include:

• Security surveys, threat and vulnerability assessments
• Internal security-related investigations
• Implementation of assets protection and loss prevention programming
• Consultation and technical expertise on environmental, physical and technical security applications
• Collaboration with other operating units in addressing environmental, health and safety related hazards
• Participation in the development, implementation and administration of an enterprise-wide emergency management and disaster recovery program.
