Radiation Oncology Residency Rotations

Radiation Oncology Residency rotations are 3 months in length with the exception of the physics rotation (2 months), oncologic  pathology (1 month), pediatric oncology (1 month), adult medical oncology (1 month) and oncologic imaging (1 month).  Rotation schedules are revised annually for a July 1 start date.  When located at the Froedtert and Medical College Clinical Cancer Center, residents rotate with 2 faculty who have expertise in specific disease sites.  When located at any of the ancillary sites, (VAMC or CMH), residents rotate with all faculty treating all disease sites.


Path/Peds/Radiology/Med Onc:  Four one-month rotations in pediatric oncology, surgical pathology, adult medical oncology and oncology imaging (pending PGY1 rotations).

Physics: Two-month rotation in physics section.

VA:    Three-month general radiation oncology rotations located at the Clement Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.

CMH:  Three-month general radiation oncology rotations located at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.

FMLH:  Three-month rotations assigned to two faculty physicians with emphasis on 2-3 specialties located at Froedtert and Medical College Cancer Center in Milwaukee.

Research: Optional rotation available at Program Director's discretion.
