MCW Radiation Oncology American College of Radiology (ACR) Accreditation
ACR accreditation represents the pinnacle of radiologic imaging and radiation oncology quality. These intensive, external third-party review processes involve comprehensive review of program structure and outcomes, as well as validation of excellence among staff, technology, policies and procedures, safety practices, quality assessment and quality improvement practices. Designation by the ACR reflects on the longstanding commitment to excellence by Froedtert & the Medical College. These voluntary ACR programs exist to help ensure patients have access to high quality and safe radiologic procedures and patient care.

The ACR is a national professional organization serving more than 36,000 diagnostic/interventional radiologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of medical imaging and radiation oncology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services.
