Is radioactive material/radiation therapy machine use a routine diagnostic/therapeutic modality (approved by NRC 10 CFR 35 or Agreement State regulation)?
YES - Is radiation use supervised by an Authorized User approved for the appropriate type?
YES - No RSC review required NO - Submit Application for Human Use, Pt I/Statement of Training & Experience, Medical to RSC
NO - Does protocol have an assigned IND or IDE?
YES - Submit Application for Human Use, Pt II and protocol to RSC NO - Submit Application for Human Use, Pt II and protocol to RDRC
