Residency

The Department of Radiology offers the following residency programs.  Please follow the links for more information.

Diagnostic Radiology Residency
The residency in Diagnostic Radiology provides a full clinical and academic experience. Through training in all areas of diagnostic radiology, including conventional radiography, nuclear medicine, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasonography, and interventional radiology, the program provides the experience for clinical competence as well as preparation for certification. Opportunities exist for participation in a broad range of clinical and basic research activities.

Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency
The Integrated IR Residency is an advanced five year program that provides a full clinical and academic experience focused on Interventional Radiology. The PGY2-PGY4 years are identical to the PGY2-PGY4 years of a Diagnostic Radiology residency. The PGY5-PGY6 years are devoted to Interventional Radiology and include procedural rotations, an ICU rotation, and clinical care experience (in-patient care, consult service, and outpatient clinic). The program provides a well-rounded experience for complete clinical competence and prepares the resident for IR/DR certification. Opportunities exist for participation in a broad range of clinical and basic research activities.

Abdominal/Body Imaging Fellowship Program
The Abdominal/Body Imaging section offers 4 positions in a one-year fellowship program that consists of 6-months of MRI, 3-months of CT, and 6-months of ultrasound.

Breast Imaging Fellowship Program
The Breast Imaging section offers one position in a one-year fellowship program.

Cardio-thoracic Imaging Fellowship Program
The Cardio-thoracic Imaging section offers one position in a one-year fellowship program.

Neuroradiology
The Neuroradiology section offers five positions in a one-year, ACGME accredited, fellowship program.

Musculoskeletal-MRI & Neuroradiology Hybrid Fellowship Program
The Musculoskeletal Imaging and Neuroradilogy sections offer a one-year hybrid fellowship allowing the fellow to become fully trained in Musculoskeletal MRI and Neuroradiology.

Neuroradiology Brain Mapping Advanced Fellowship Program
The Neuroradiology section offers a one-year fellowship allowing the fellow to become fully trained in functional brain mapping.

Nuclear Medicine
The Nuclear Medicine section offers one position in a one-year fellowship program.

Pediatric Radiology
The Pediatric Imaging section offers one position in a one-year, ACGME accredited, fellowship program.

Vascular & Interventional Radiology
The Vascular & Interventional Radiology division offers four positions in a one-year, ACGME accredited, fellowship program.
