Chin Surgery


Mentoplasty

This (1 hour) outpatient procedure is done to reshape the chin by an enhancement with an implant or by a surgical reduction of the bone. Chin surgery helps provide a harmonious balance to your facial features so that you feel better about the way you look. 

Side effects can include: temporary numbness, nerve injury, and/or implant rejection.


Submental Liposuction

This (30 minute) outpatient procedure is done to remove fat from beneath the chin. 

Side effects can include: temporary bruising, swelling, numbness, soreness, and burning sensation.
