This (2 hour) outpatient procedure is done to set prominent ears closer to the head. For the most part, this operation is done on children between the ages of 6 and 14. Ears are almost fully grown by age five; therefore, the procedure can be performed before the child enters school. Ear surgery on adults is also available.
Side effects can include: blood clot of the ear and infection.
This (30 minute) in-clinic procedure is done to repair an earlobe piercing that has been ripped or torn.
