Eyelid Surgery


Blepharoplasty

This (1-2 hour) outpatient procedure is performed to correct drooping of the upper eyelids and/or puffiness below the eyes by removing excess fat and skin. It will not remove crow's feet or other wrinkles, nor eliminate dark circles under the  eyes, nor lift sagging eyebrows. Upper and lower eyelids can be done individually or at the same time. 

Side effects can include: temporary discomfort, swelling, bruising, eye dryness, burning, itching, excessive tearing, and sensitivity to light.
