INTERNAL APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Foundation Grants and Awards

The Medical College of Wisconsin requires investigators to submit internal applications for private foundations that (1) limit the number of applicants per institution, or (2) have been identified by the Foundation Grants and Awards Committee for special review.

Materials to Be Submitted

• Letter of nomination (to be addressed to Foundation Grants and Awards Committee) from senior or supervising faculty member
• Written approval from Department Chair
• Brief description from the nominee of his/her proposed research project (two page maximum)
• Nominee's NIH biosketch

Submission Process

Materials must be received by the internal application deadline date. Mail application materials to:

Review Process

Applications are reviewed by the Foundation Grants and Awards Committee. Faculty serving on the committee are:
