The Division of General Surgery Welcomes Dr. Matthew Goldblatt
The Department of Surgery is pleased to announce the successful recruitment of Dr. Matthew Goldblatt to the Division of General Surgery. Dr. Goldblatt comes to the Medical College of Wisconsin from Wright State University where he served as Assistant Professor of Surgery. Dr. Goldblatt received his medical degree and completed his surgical training at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed a fellowship in advanced laparoscopy at The Ohio State University. Dr. Goldblatt brings with him a particular expertise in laparoscopic procedures including the surgical management of gastroesophageal reflux disease, complex abdominal wall reconstructions and hernia repairs, and bariatric surgery. He will be a wonderful addition to the bariatric program. Dr. Goldblatt is joined by his wife, Maureen and they have two children; Hannah (age 7) and Rachel (age 5). We are very pleased to have Dr. Matt Goldblatt join the Department of Surgery and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
