Jill Whitehouse, MD, Elected to Alpha Omega Alpha
Dr. Jill Whitehouse has been elected to join the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, Wisconsin Beta Chapter. “AOA is a professional medical organization that recognizes and advocates for excellence in scholarship and the highest ideals in the profession of medicine. Their values include honesty, honorable conduct, morality, virtue, unselfishness, ethical ideals, dedication to serving others, and leadership. Members have a compelling drive to do well and to advance the medical profession and exemplify the highest standards of professionalism.” Dr. Whitehouse will be recognized as a new member at the annual induction ceremony on April 17, 2012.
Dr. Whitehouse is a current Resident (PGY 5) in the Department of Surgery. She will continue her training next year as a Pediatric Surgery fellow with the MCW Division of Pediatric Surgery and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
Dr. Nicholas Kim (PGY2) also was elected to the AOA. He is participating in the Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Program. These residents spend their first two years of training as General Surgery residents, then continue their training in Plastic Surgery.
