"Pancreatic Cancer Survivors Offer Hope to Those Diagnosed" Newscast Video
November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and you may see many stories of hope, inspiration and patient advocacy in a variety of media outlets. A health check segment newscast was videoed on Channel 13 in Houston, Texas with Christi Myers in which pancreatic cancer survivors visit patients at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Both patients in the newscast were operated on by Dr. Evans and are long-term survivors of pancreatic cancer. Mary Sharkey was featured in the docudrama “Houston Medical” at the time of her original diagnosis and treatment many years ago. Click below to view the video.
