Deborah A. Andris receives Distinguished Nursing Award
March 10, 2010 College News - Deborah A. Andris, MSN, APNP, Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Surgery (Colorectal Surgery), received the 2010 Distinguished Nutrition Support Nurse Award from the American Society for Parental and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). She was presented the award at the society’s annual meeting in Las Vegas.
Andris was chosen for her contributions to the field of nutrition support and for her accomplishments and contributions to the field as an educator and researcher, and for her dedication to the advancement of the science of nutrition support nursing.
Previously, Andris received the ASPEN Nursing Research Award for her studies of The Mechanism of Antibiotic-Lock Therapy.
