Dr. Evans Inducted as the 31st President of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons
April 19, 2010: At the 30th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AAES) in Pittsburgh, Dr. Douglas Evans was inducted as the 31st President. The AAES is an international organization devoted to the research and treatment of endocrine (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pancreas, and all neuroendocrine neoplasms) surgery. The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Surgery is one of just a handful of organizations that has had 2 faculty assume the presidency of the AAES; Dr. Stuart Wilson is a founding member and past president of the organization.
