Conversations with Scientists

The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment is pleased to invite you to our spring 2018 Conversations with Scientists series, Precision Medicine: Own your own genome. This four-part event invites the public to learn about the groundbreaking changes taking place in biomedical research, medical education and health care at MCW today.

Precision Medicine is an approach for disease treatment and prevention that takes into account individual differences in genes, environment and lifestyle. The spring series will explore the history of precision medicine and what you need to know about the "genome", how scientists use research to solve tough medical cases, the power in understanding your DNA, and new ways doctors and scientists are using genetic information to understand disease and care for your health.
