Financial Information

A student must indicate receipt of a scholarship, or pay tuition at the time of registration. All full-time students will be charged student and activity fees. Increases in tuition should be anticipated as a result of rising costs.

All full-time PhD-seeking graduate students receive a full tuition scholarship, health insurance and stipend.

Current MCW Employees
Current MCW employees should obtain an MCW Graduate School Tuition Course Approval / Authorization Form (PDF) from Human Resources.

Students interested in obtaining loan assistance should request an application packet from the Office of Student Financial Services. Additional information about all loan programs is available upon request from the Office of Student Financial Services, (414) 955-8208. Information can also be obtained from the Financial Aid Office.

Late Fees
There will be a $250 late registration fee for anyone not completing registration by the date indicated on the academic calendar for each term.. There is also a $100 late payment fee for tuition not paid on time according to the Tuition Payments policy in the Student Handbook.
Late payment fee is in addition to any late registration fee.

Academic Transcripts
Students may request official copies of their Graduate School academic transcripts to be sent to designated individuals or organizations (other than themselves) by providing a signed request form with the appropriate fee to the Graduate School office. Students can print a copy of their academic record via secured access in EASI.

Fees for official transcripts are as follows:

  • $5.00 per official transcript for graduated and currently enrolled students
  • Rush Transcript $10.00 for 24-hour turnaround
  • Federal Express fee for overnight delivery within the United States $25.00

If a student or former student has outstanding obligations to the Medical College, release of the official records will be withheld until the obligations are paid.
